In October 2016, eight international Jewish artists from across the globe were invited by Beit Venezia for a fellowship at the Scuola Interazionale di Grafica di Venezia to reimagine a manuscript from 1609 to celebrate the five-hundred year anniversary of the venetian Ghetto.

The eight artists, led by the unstoppable Jacqueline Nicholls and supported by scholars and members of the local community, set out on an intense and rewarding three weeks of lectures, research and studio time to produce three separate images (each, illustrating specific passages of the Haggadah) that would constitute the New Venice Haggadah. An edition of 25 prints was produced, assembled in crafted boxes to be exhibited and sold in celebration of the Ghetto's jubilee.
